Mum and I used sage to rid a spirit in my bedroom and mum walk around the house after me with a white candle and said a chant! What do you think I should do with the candle? If I use it again won't that have some form of backfire and maybe bring the spirit back? Is it wrong to throw it away or should I bury it deep in the backyard?

What to do with someone talking about you behind their back in a Coven?

So I've been Wiccan all my life and I used to be in a Coven, I started a Coven up about 1 year ago and I now have a small Coven full of people I know and trust with my life, 1 member began in December and I welcomed her with welcome arms into the Coven and I've been teaching her about Wicca and just generally doing things like you would in a normal Coven however a teacher at school found out and tried to stop me from doing it, I thought it might have just slipped out and I didn't pay any attention to it. Anyway this girl and another friend who I trust with my life (They are in the Coven) thought something was wrong with me one day and I admitted them my deepest darkest secret and within the next few days it had spread around school, it got me into a whole bunch of trouble and I had no idea who had spread it, at first I thought it might have been the friend I trusted my life with, I didn't tell them any secrets again but I did tell this girl some and they also spread like wildfire. Some of the people outside the Coven said she was spreading rumours about me and a teacher having a relationship with each other and I am pretty sure that she is talking about me behind my back. I just am unsure on what to do with her being in the Coven, in Wicca you have to have trust with your Coven and I can't trust her with a secret so how can I trust her with the God and Goddess's ways of right? Any advice for what to do about her? I have asked 2 coven members already on if they feel like they can trust her and both say no so it isn't just me, should I ask the other members and see what they think?

Question About Wicca - Deity Relationships?

I have been trying recently to form a personal relationship with various gods and goddesses, and have asked for dreams and identifiers as to the identity of which gods and/or goddesses I resonate with best, but I feel like I am getting nowhere. Is tolerance for the gay community becoming a form of modern theology?

meaning that a lot of people are repeating "gay is oh, homosexuality is normal" without even trying to back it up with any arguments and the classical response to anything considered anty-gay is something pretty similar to the religious answer "la la la can't hear you, can't hear you godidit", changed a little to "la la la can't hear you can't hear you, you're a bigot". lets take this argument for example. in my opinion "gay culture" (meaning introducing gay characters in all tv-shows, teaching everybody that you are born gay and there's nothing wrong with it etc), can have a damaging effect. even if someone is born gay, (even thou there is nothing to back this up, no gay gene, no biological differences between homo and heterosexual people), the fact is that psychological issues can determine sexual deviations (true for zoophiles, pedophiles etc), and if a kid with some problems and who is a bit socially awkward if exposed to this sort of "gay culture" could think that his problems derive from sexual problems and people instead of telling him to try some therapy first would encourage him and say that his brave for admitting it even if he isn't gay. if you want to say that being gay is normal...ok, but the gay community is the only minority group that are focusing strictly on sexual issues and shout them anywhere anytime regardless of what people think about it. i don't see a lot of heterosexual people walking around with banners that say "i'm straight and proud" or having to specify his sexual orientation in every movie or sitcom on tv. now the question is, does anybody have a more complex opinion on this then "la la la can't hear, can't hear, you're a bigot?"

I'm 5'5" & about 125lbs. This may be considered a healthy weight, but the weight is mostly in my belly & sides (love handles). I bought a bottle of fat burning pills from dollar general called "super fat burning system". The directions are to take 2 tablets before a meal with a glass of water on an empty stomach. It doesn't specify if you do this before every meal or once a day. Has anyone taken these specific supplements & does it actually work? Why are Christians so eager to call people sinners EXCEPT when they sin against nature?

I've seen deniers and proponents on both sides of the fence religiously speaking when it comes to Christianity. Those supremely religious people who are proponents believe that we are ruining God's Earth while those who are against say we could not possible ruin the planet because only God can do that. Both of these ways of thinking are based on belief. Of course it matters exactly what type of Christian God you believe in. Is it one where God has a hand in our every day lives and readily watches over us or is it one where God had a hand in forming reality, which we are a part of, and letting us go on our merry way after giving us the moral and spiritual standards we should live by? One that thinks he has a hand in our every day lives may have a problem believing in AGW while the other type more than likely won't have very much trouble being a proponent of AGW. The bible is interpretted by each individual differently. some see it as a metaphor of what really occurred while others see it as an exact story.

I'm unfamiliar with the one you mention. However, I strongly recommend you try to find a copy of Cunningham's "Wicca: a Guide for the Solitary Practitioner." It's an excellent beginner's book, and it's reliable and doesn't have the dogma of Buckland or the sometimes annoying unhistorical ideas or "victim mentality" one sometimes sees in Ravenwolf.

This girl I know and went to school with, all of a sudden disappeared. Everyone said she was but in the mental institution because she is diabetic, the kind were you check it all the time and need and insulin machine. I have a thought but I'm not sure it will work. Try to look at the computers parental settings (if the computer has one). That might be the problem because the sims has Crude Humor, Sexual Themes, and Violence which (If your on a family computer) might be locked off. Also, Check and see what your computer is. The sims only work on some computers and some they don't work. Check on the back of the CD box of your sim game and there should be a "System Requirements" at the bottom left above the "T for teens" thingy. And check to see if your PC matches the requirements. I was perusing the internet to kill time and a message appeared that said my laptop has a virus (it didn't specify what it was) and that it should be taken care of asap to prevent from losing any files. The laptop was given to me from my big bro, and I haven't really worried about protection til now. There's a McAfee Security Scan Plus software already installed, but the laptop cannot find any active virus protection. The Windows 7 software site has the BullGuard software free for 90 days, and I want to download that for now, checking to see if it will take care the problem, and then download the 2 year virus protection for $60. Small Claims Court..Gross Negligence...?

Ok so I hit a big rock and it tore up my wheel, tie rod arm, etc. I had full insurance and the adjuster figured 1596.00 for the repairs. They wrote this out in a itemized list and cut a check which i signed over to the repair shop i took it to. I ended up contacting the Bureau of Automotive Repair because the job was suppose to take about 10 hours and they had my car 33 days. 23 of those days it was at a body shop of their choosing and they wouldn't tell me the name, phone number or location of this shop so up went a red flag. The investigator ended up finding that they perpetrated 1100.00 worth of fraud as well as gross negligence because he discovered all the lug nuts on both front tires on backwards. The mechanics won't give me back the money so its off to small claims. I am suing for the 1100 plus court costs, two jobs which i couldn't take because they had my car so long. I live in an apartment complex in TN. I recently had surgery and ALWAYS make sure I lock my front door when my partner is at work. I wouldn't be able to fend off an intruder if need be. Anyway, this past Saturday after my partner left, I locked the front door and jumped in the shower. Ten minutes later, I heard a VERY loud banging sound right before I got out. I put on a towel and walked into my living room. The very first thing I did was check the front door, which I found to be unlocked. I then proceeded to look out of my windows to see my maintenance man, running like a madman to his truck. He got in, then took off like a bat out of hell. I locked the door again and called the office. I didn't get anyone directly, so I went down there. The associate who was there said she did receive a plumbing work-order for apt 305 and he could have gotten the numbers mixed up, despite working here for the past 20 years. I've worked in property management and said I can totally understand that. I then asked her what type of problem 305 was having. She said 305 didn't have any water pressure, that the maintenance man was POSSIBLY checking my unit to see if this was the cause of the problem OR, that he was "looking for something else." Thinking this was odd, seeing as 305 isn't on my side of the building, I said okay, I just wanted to make sure he just wasn't coming in just because. She then said, he always knocks and announces himself before coming in and never enters without your permission, or if you are not there. Okay, but that is exactly what happened. I didn't answer my door or give him permission to enter and he did anyway, while I was in the shower. 305 is WAY down the hall and is directly across from 306. Wouldn't it have been a little more logical to check the closest units first, instead of one that is 3 units down? If this WAS the case, why did he slam my door, leave it unlocked, speed off in his truck, rather than waiting outside my door for a couple of minutes and then re-knocking, to check my unit? There are over 250 units in my complex, split between 7 buildings and he just decided to check mine just because? That and he was possibly looking for something else? Like what? I'm not buying it. This isn't the first time I've come home to an unlocked door, while everything in my apartment is either on, or things were thrown around, but never taken. They said they can change my locks, but what good is that when maintenance would have a key? My mom said to put a chain latch on the inside to use when I was inside, but that wouldn't keep anyone from coming in while I'm gone. I looked into tenant privacy laws in TN, while no specified times are listed, it did say the landlord or other persons cannot enter without permission, unless it is an emergency situation or at the minimum a 24 hour written notice. Fire, severe water leak, extermination, etc. What do you think? This definitely seems illegal to me. What would be the best way to prevent this from happening? Worst case scenario, I'll have to pay almost $600+ to break my lease early. I've lived here for a little over two months.

I was brought up to be Catholic and I am baptized and went through all of the steps. For many many years I did not believe in Christ and still have doubts to this day. Legally you need to be 18 or older before one can accept you as a student or member of a group. Advice? 1. Read everything, and discard what doesn't feel 100% right. 2. Wicca is not about spells, nor magic it is a Polytheistic RELIGION. We believe in 2 or more deities and honor them. It is not "nature worship" nor "sky-clad orgies." 3. You need more than 4 months before you can dedicate yourself. The rule of thumb is a year and a day of intense study before you are allowed to even think of being dedicated. This is a life choice, not something that can be put on one day and taken off the next. You will be a life time student as well as teacher as you go along. That is my advise. Take longer to research before getting too far into this. If you mother IS 150% fine as you say, I would suggest you have her read along with you so there are no misunderstandings. Also Scott Cunningham is a much better beginners book. It is easy to understand and very informative. Solitary practitioner is a good place to start.

Can I use any kind 20W50 motor oil in my motorcycle, even if its not specified as motorcycle oil?

I purchased several bottles of Castrol 20W50 High Mileage Synthetic oil for my motorcycle, and then the next day I saw the section for just motorcycle oils, and was wondering if it really mattered. The manual says to use 20w50 oil w/ detergent, and this Castrol high Mileage stuff meets the criteria, but I guess technically it is a automobile lubricant. Do you think it would cause problems in my bike? It's a 2000 Ural Tourist, 4 stroke, 2 cylinder 650cc and the same oil is used in both the main chassis and gear box.

I live in an apartment complex in TN. I recently had surgery and ALWAYS make sure I lock my front door when my partner is at work. I wouldn't be able to fend off an intruder if need be. Anyway, this past Saturday after my partner left, I locked the front door and jumped in the shower. Ten minutes later, I heard a VERY loud banging sound right before I got out. I put on a towel and walked into my living room. The very first thing I did was check the front door, which I found to be unlocked. I then proceeded to look out of my windows to see my maintenance man, running like a madman to his truck. He got in, then took off like a bat out of hell. I locked the door again and called the office. I didn't get anyone directly, so I went down there. The associate who was there said she did receive a plumbing work-order for apt 305 and he could have gotten the numbers mixed up, despite working here for the past 20 years. I've worked in property management and said I can totally understand that. I then asked her what type of problem 305 was having. She said 305 didn't have any water pressure, that the maintenance man was POSSIBLY checking my unit to see if this was the cause of the problem OR, that he was "looking for something else." Thinking this was odd, seeing as 305 isn't on my side of the building, I said okay, I just wanted to make sure he just wasn't coming in just because. She then said, he always knocks and announces himself before coming in and never enters without your permission, or if you are not there. Okay, but that is exactly what happened. I didn't answer my door or give him permission to enter and he did anyway, while I was in the shower. 305 is WAY down the hall and is directly across from 306. Wouldn't it have been a little more logical to check the closest units first, instead of one that is 3 units down? If this WAS the case, why did he slam my door, leave it unlocked, speed off in his truck, rather than waiting outside my door for a couple of minutes and then re-knocking, to check my unit? There are over 250 units in my complex, split between 7 buildings and he just decided to check mine just because? That and he was possibly looking for something else? Like what? I'm not buying it. This isn't the first time I've come home to an unlocked door, while everything in my apartment is either on, or things were thrown around, but never taken. They said they can change my locks, but what good is that when maintenance would have a key? My mom said to put a chain latch on the inside to use when I was inside, but that wouldn't keep anyone from coming in while I'm gone. I looked into tenant privacy laws in TN, while no specified times are listed, it did say the landlord or other persons cannot enter without permission, unless it is an emergency situation or at the minimum a 24 hour written notice. Fire, severe water leak, extermination, etc. What do you think? This definitely seems illegal to me. What would be the best way to prevent this from happening? Worst case scenario, I'll have to pay almost $600+ to break my lease early. I've lived here for a little over two months.

Do they get jail time, a fine , or both ?.. The insurance dint specify what type of insurance i needed there for i got regular insurance but i needed sr22. Then one day i got pulled over for no seat belt, while the cop check out my license it turn out that my driver license was suspended because of the insurance. Stepdaughter background well behaved, loving. Her mom extremely permissive would not ever raise her voice at her and very dedicated to her. Me, I have an 11 yo boy well behaved. I told him, to go talk to both of them today and tell his daughter she will not come with us (FUN,POOL) because she lied about us yesterday and send her a direct stern message. He disagrees because he says he should be there for his daughter no matter what. He wants to talk to her about lying (did so yesterday already and many other times) I am freaking out because i do not want to lose him for any other lie she could come up with that could get us in trouble with the law. We currently do not let the kids play together, or his daughter away from our sight for a SECOND. Because of the lies. I need help.
