Do you think that it is conceivably possible to destroy evil?

How would one do that? Let's say that Satan was destroyed, all his demons and Hell was destroyed too. Do you think that would destroy evil? What would stop human beings from choosing to perpetrate crimes and doing horrible evil things after that? Would they no longer have the Free Will to choose such things?
