Wicca- how can I charge my own charms?

Hi, I recently saw some items listed as "haunted" on ebay. They are jewelry items with a spell attached to them to help ther person who wears them, with protection, or money or health, etc. I want to put my own intentions into my gems to help me. How do I do it? Can you advise me phrase? ;)
