Learning true magic? [wicca(?)]?

I am wondering if there is anything as far as true magic? A friend of me presented me to wicca, but I don't know if it is something for me. I have never been the religious type, but I am willing to give it a go, but the thing that interests me and her the most, is of course; the magic. So, is there anything as far as real magic, like witchcraft, spiritual magic, sorcerers etc?
