I really must know. Is it at all possible to control the elements?

I am a wiccan, but I also believe that I can actually control the elements. I am a beginner wicca, but before I got into that, I have always believed that I was able to control the elements. I for one know that I am NOT crazy. I do NOT have an over active imagination, just when, I wanted the wind to blow, it did. When I wanted the wind to stop it did. When I wanted it warmer, it got that way. Colder, got that way also. I really want to know how this happens, and if it is real. If it is, I will use my ability, to thank the goddess and be joyus in my gift.
