How to install a network printer IP address not specified.?

I am trying to add a HP4015 onto our network. When i go to: control panel/printers/add printer and browse, the new printer does not show up. I printed out the TCP/IP information from the printer to get the IP address and all it says is "not specified". What would you try next besides banging my head on the desk.
