Should I make this first or third person?

In the story I'm writing, the mc has been writing in first person. Now I want to change perspectives to the mc's good friend for the newest chapter. The problem is: I'm not sure if i should make it first person and specify that this chapter is in his POV or make it third person. Any suggestions???
