Good omen then bad omen? ?

Today I decided to become a Wicca. I also plucked a wire hair off of my black cat and she didn't scratch me! This is a good omen! But when I went to my room I found my bunny dead? Is this a bad omen and if so does it have to do with me deciding to become and train to be a Wicca or was it not an omen at all? Also I fed my bunny strawberries ( something I havnt done) if that helps?
