I have a general question about Wicca and Christianity. Anyone around who can help?

I was brought up to be Catholic and I am baptized and went through all of the steps. For many many years I did not believe in Christ and still have doubts to this day. The reason I do not have full faith in Christ is because of the things I have read. For example: Christianity has such similar stories to older religions. It seems as though religions all stole from one another and there could be a connection where as people are just worshiping the sun. Right after confirmation I started reading about Wicca. I read that you can be a "good witch" which would make you a "white witch". I enjoyed reading and practicing for a short amount of time. Whenever I would do spells I would feel great as if I was meditating. I just wanted to know....does anyone think Wicca is evil? I do not see how it is evil if I have good intentions and LOVE behind any spell that I do. I also seemed to notice that whenever i pray to god or christ it seems my luck actually gets worse! I am kinda lost and was wondering if I can get some help. Thank you
