Small Claims Court..Gross Negligence...?

Ok so I hit a big rock and it tore up my wheel, tie rod arm, etc. I had full insurance and the adjuster figured 1596.00 for the repairs. They wrote this out in a itemized list and cut a check which i signed over to the repair shop i took it to. I ended up contacting the Bureau of Automotive Repair because the job was suppose to take about 10 hours and they had my car 33 days. 23 of those days it was at a body shop of their choosing and they wouldn't tell me the name, phone number or location of this shop so up went a red flag. The investigator ended up finding that they perpetrated 1100.00 worth of fraud as well as gross negligence because he discovered all the lug nuts on both front tires on backwards. The mechanics won't give me back the money so its off to small claims. I am suing for the 1100 plus court costs, two jobs which i couldn't take because they had my car so long. What about the negligence? is there an amount which you can ask for that?
